New Battery After six and a half years of being treated like shit, my Shorai finally gave up. View this post on Instagram You served me well for over 6 years- two stators, three rectifier, ran you flat twice. Treated you like crap, but you started up every day, with no complaints. Reply Probably the other way around. Ducati are not known for having good electricals, so they probably contributed to the “early” demise of the battery. When the stator went out I ran the battery flat both times, who knows what harm I did when the 3 rectifiers fried before i was smart enough to get a MOSFET rectifier. It always charged right back up after getting the bike back together but I’m sure the long term health of the battery suffered. Reply curious if you used their charger at any point? Reply no, never. my bike is a daily driver and we don’t have real winter so it rarely sits for more than a couple days at a time.
