So the construction wasn’t too bad. Looks like they’re just ripping up buckled sidewalks and putting in new concrete. One of the sections has been doing that fo 30 years. I can’t understand why they can’t fix it. There isn’t even a tree there, so something’s going on underground. Sure was a hell of a lot of equipment just to replace a couple sections of sidewalk, but what do I know, I’m a desk jockey.
Oh, what have I been doing while social distancing? You know, same ol’. Sitting in the garage, drinking too much. Maybe a little horticulture (not a euphemism), and reading a lot. I’m learning how to find the quiet parts of my mind and figuring out how to be still, even for just a short period of the day.
