Covid 19-Work from home day 43

We’re closing in on completing our ninth week of social distancing and working from home. Man that seems like a long time. I’ve come to terms I will be working from home for a long while. Company is talking about making plans to reopen offices, but even that will only be for people in extraordinary circumstances. I’m in that point now where I’m starting to feel even more blurred, even more numb, craving interaction with someone outside my immediate family. I wonder if this is how people feel when they get snowed in for extended periods?

The other day I mentioned we went to my parents’ house for Mothers Day. They live on a big place where apparently the former owners thought they could grow grapes and make wine. At some point Mr because ill and couldn’t work the fields, but the grape vines remain. They have these tiny little baby grapes right now. Some kept daring me to eat them. Pass. I can say on the property they’ve got a lot of wildlife. Ton of lizards, a big hawk hunting something, and found an injured juvenile rattlesnake while we were there.
