Sunday Morning Music- Bad Cop/Bad Cop

Following up with bands I discovered while listen to Pandora, is Bad Cop/Bad Cop. Another SoCal all-woman pop punk group hailing from, from what the internet tells me, San Pedro. In the age of female-power, they have some anthems for the cause including Sugarcane and and Womanarchist, where they skillfully wrap up pretty heavy content in a punky rip.

I really like the sound of Stacey Dee and Jennie Cotterill’s voices, both soothing you into 2-4 toe tapping bliss, but also letting you know they’re not gonna take your shit any more. The video here is pretty brand new, only released 2 weeks ago. There’s plenty of studio and live content to be found on the internet, I’m partial to their session at the Rock Room.
