Heat wave hit us this weekend. I suppose it’s good we’re hiding in the house because otherwise we’d be at a soccer tournament all day. Supposed to last through the next few days, hopefully it eases up. We don’t have A/C and working all day inside in a room that faces the afternoon sun is Bad News Bears.
On the plus side, it was beautiful this morning. I went out and just sat in the garage drinking my coffee, trying to get a picture of the goldfinch flitting around the yard. I had to settle for a picture of my blue flax.
